Sloop 60′
The principal objective behind this 18.60 × 5.50-metre sailing yacht was to remove the physical separation between interior and exterior spaces.
This quality—typically associated with catamarans and one of the main reasons for their success—is transferred to a true monohull sloop, combining a high-performance hull and sail plan with generous interior volumes. A retractable keel reduces the draught, allowing access to shallow bays and smaller harbours.
The project brings together the principal advantages of both types of yacht: the sailing performance and seaworthiness of a monohull, combined with the openness and ease of use associated with a catamaran. The result is a hybrid conceived to offer strong sailing performance within a highly liveable and intuitive layout.
Continuous flooring connects the cockpit and saloon, while uninterrupted views towards the horizon enhance the sense of space, sociability and connection with the surroundings. The saloon also incorporates an internal helm station with 360-degree visibility, providing protection and safety when sailing in adverse weather conditions.
The interior is defined by its generous proportions and natural light. The main-deck saloon features extensive perimeter glazing and a partially opening glass roof, together with a second helm station that can be concealed when not in use. Three double cabins with en-suite bathrooms, a day head, a double crew cabin and a partially separated galley make the yacht suitable for long passages and extended periods on board.
At the stern, a large opening hatch forms a comfortable swim platform and provides access to the tender garage.
