7 guest cabins / 14 guests, crew of 9

The client, an experienced yacht owner, wanted to undertake extended voyages through some of the world’s most remote regions.

The primary objective of the refit was therefore to maximise the yacht’s non-stop operational range. This required a substantial increase in provisions storage and, above all, fuel capacity, together with the installation of new generators and watermakers.

To achieve this, the yacht was sectioned at its maximum beam and a new 8-metre module was inserted amidships. The aft platform was also extended by 1.5 metres.

The new section incorporates additional fuel tanks within its bilges and provides space for a walk-in cold room and freezer, additional cabins and a large storage and laundry area.

The main deck now offers 120 square metres of space for tenders, vehicles and equipment, handled by a new 2.5-tonne crane.
